SINOPSE: Lovebirds é uma história maravilhosa e comovente sobre família, amadurecimento e encontrar o amor. Mario encontrou o verdadeiro amor. Nos últimos meses, ele tem se correspondido com Alexis, um bonito jovem espanhol pela internet. Embora seja apenas um romance on-line, Mario é simplesmente louco pelo cara. Alexis já percebeu que ele sente o mesmo, então eles decidem se encontrar na cidade natal de Mario, nas Filipinas. Mas há um pequeno problema: Mario nunca disse a sua família que ele é gay e as coisas mudam quando Alexis chega e a mãe de Mario descobre que Alexis não é uma garota. Esta chegada e o banquete subseqüente causam uma série de mal-entendidos, mentiras e sentimentos feridos. 

SINOPSIS: Lovebirds is a wonderful and moving story about family, maturing and finding love. Mario found true love. For the past few months, he has corresponded with Alexis, a handsome young Spaniard over the internet. Although it's just an online romance, Mario is just crazy about the guy. Alexis has already realized that he feels the same way, so they decide to meet in Mario's hometown in the Philippines. But there is a small problem: Mario never told his family that he is gay and things change when Alexis arrives and Mario's mother discovers that Alexis is not a girl. This arrival and the subsequent banquet cause a series of misunderstandings, lies and hurt feelings.
